EMAG CASE STUDY

EMAG is a global manufacturer of CNC lathes, machining centres and integrated production systems serving the automotive, aerospace and wider industrial sectors. With approximately 3,500 employees and operations in more than 30 countries, the company relies on resilient digital infrastructure to support thousands of endpoints across production facilities, offices, servers and VDI environments.

To modernise its endpoint security environment, EMAG partnered with Obrela to migrate from Carbon Black and Trend Micro to Palo Alto Cortex XDR. EMAG required a unified platform that could reduce operational complexity, improve visibility, strengthen detection and response capabilities, and support production-critical environments without disruption.

Obrela designed and delivered a structured migration programme covering approximately 3,000 endpoints. The approach included environment mapping, pilot deployment, phased production rollout, policy refinement and integration of XDR alerts into incident response processes.

According to EMAG:

My thanks to the Obrela Engineering Team. the whole migration was absolutely seamless from Kick-Off to Project end.
