Obrela’s Evangelos Dragonas, Incident Response Expert was selected to present at DEF CON Bahrain 2025, one of the most prominent cybersecurity events in the region, which brought together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners to exchange insights and showcase the latest developments in digital defense.
Evangelos took the stage at the Demo Labs, presenting a live demonstration on how Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Multi-Component Pipelines (MCPs) can enhance DFIR processes.
The session was based on the paper submitted to the organizers, aiming to explore how these methodologies can be applied within DFIR workflows to improve data correlation, accelerate evidence analysis, and enhance the accuracy of incident investigations. Through practical examples, it was demonstrated how such frameworks can integrate intelligence sources, support contextual analysis, and streamline response activities—bridging analytical precision with operational efficiency.
Being part of DEF CON Bahrain allowed Obrela to engage with the global cybersecurity community, contributing to the conversation around the practical use of emerging analytical models in incident response and their role in strengthening digital resilience.
